DigiFarmz Advances Wheat Trials with Focus on Real-World Data and Sustainable Innovation

DigiFarmz, an agtech company with operations in Brazil, Paraguay and the United States, has completed the planting of its 2025 wheat trials. The trials include 35 wheat cultivars planted across two sowing windows, reflecting a variety of growing conditions.

The trials aim to generate agronomic data to increase DigiFarmz precision recommendations for disease management and cultivar yield potential. This information directly feeds the algorithms behind DigiFarmz Cropper and enterprise solutions offered through DigiFarmz Linkage.

DigiFarmz is advancing a comprehensive project focused on agricultural systems, encompassing integrated management practices and the inclusion of both summer and winter crops. The project evaluates multiple interactions and aims to assess how year-over-year decisions impact productivity and long-term sustainability. This initiative is aligned with DigiFarmz’s strategic transition from a crop-season-based approach to a full agricultural year framework, incorporating not only diseases but also insects, weeds, nematodes, and key aspects of soil fertility, biology, and physical structure.

“Completing the implementation phase of the trials already enables us to collect field-validated data that reflect the reality of growers,” said Leonardo Furlani, R&D Technical Coordinator at DigiFarmz. “Everything we develop begins in the field and is intended for the field.”

With a strong focus on applied research and data-driven tools, DigiFarmz continues to bring science-based innovation to agriculture, helping farmers, consultants, and ag retailers make smarter decisions for consistent, localized results.
