DigiFarmz shares strategic insights on agriculture at Canada IV Accelerator series by SVG Ventures | THRIVE

Being part of this discussion was an opportunity to show how DigiFarmz has developed scalable solutions in challenging agricultural settings - said DigiFarmz CEO Alex Chequim

DigiFarmz CEO and founder Alexandre Chequim was invited to speak at the second session of the Canada IV Accelerator series, led by SVG Ventures | THRIVE, to share insights on operating in complex agricultural markets like Brazil.

The session focused on helping early-stage agtech companies navigate international expansion. Chequim joined Ricardo Campo, Head of Consulting at Rural Ventures, to discuss key considerations for entering the Brazilian market, including regional differences in market behavior, regulatory challenges, and the importance of building strong local partnerships.

Chequim emphasized the value of understanding local dynamics to scale technologies effectively in diverse environments. He also highlighted how DigiFarmz — headquartered in both Brazil and the United States — delivers data-driven, science-based agronomic solutions built for complex production systems.

“Being part of this discussion was an opportunity to show how DigiFarmz has developed scalable solutions in challenging agricultural settings. We’re bringing to the U.S. market proven technology, grounded in science and validated in the field, that delivers real results,” said Alexandre Chequim.

The session is part of a five-part series designed to equip the Canada IV Accelerator cohort with the tools and strategies needed to approach global markets with confidence and clarity.
