The event brought together experts from the agriculture sector to discuss the progress and challenges of artificial intelligence applied to farming

DigiFarmz took part in the programming of the Elevate: An AI in Agriculture Summit 2025, held in Fargo, North Dakota, by participating in the pitch sessions reserved for selected startups presenting their solutions. The event brought together experts, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders from the agriculture sector to discuss the progress and challenges of artificial intelligence applied to farming.

The Elevate Summit is focused on advancing the integration of artificial intelligence into agricultural practices, covering topics such as predictive analytics, automation, data security, and system interoperability. In an industry marked by diverse producers and regional conditions, the event emphasized the importance of developing technological solutions that are accessible, reliable, and tailored to the unique realities of different farming operations.

During the event, startups had the opportunity to showcase their innovative proposals to an audience composed of investors, agribusiness professionals, researchers, and government representatives.

“At DigiFarmz, we leverage artificial intelligence to integrate agronomic data, weather information, and crop characteristics, providing customized technical recommendations that help farmers make more precise decisions on each farm. Participating in the Elevate Summit was a valuable opportunity to present this approach to a qualified audience and exchange insights with experts and investors focused on agricultural innovation,” said Alex Chequim, CEO of DigiFarmz.

In addition to the presentations, the Elevate Summit facilitated discussions on barriers to AI adoption in agriculture, including costs, connectivity infrastructure, technical support, and return on investment. Privacy and transparency around data usage were also key topics, essential for building trust between producers and technology providers.

Alex Chequim also participated in the AgTech Lightning Rounds, a pitching and meeting session with investors and potential strategic partners, organized by the accelerator gener8tor. This initiative aims to connect innovative ag startups with investors interested in supporting technologies that can improve productivity and sustainability in agriculture.
