On August, DigiFarmz participated in the Greater Peoria AgTech Connect, established as one of the leading innovation forums for agriculture in the United States. Organized by the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council (GPEDC), the event brought together entrepreneurs, farmers, and agribusiness leaders to discuss trends shaping the future of global agriculture. This edition took place in El Paso, Illinois, with Beck’s Hybrids serving as the host.
One highlight of the program was the Farmers Roundtable, a space giving startups the opportunity to share how they are redefining the way agriculture connects with technology. Representing DigiFarmz, CEO Alex Chequim presented the company’s journey, emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in its solution.
He explained how DigiFarmz combines AI with its proprietary database, algorithms, and mathematical models developed over more than 20 years, enabling the transformation of complex farm data into actionable, data-driven decisions tailored to the specific reality of each field.
This structure is organized into two complementary layers: the first focuses on personalization, understanding the unique characteristics of each farm to provide customized recommendations. The second layer emphasizes communication, featuring an intelligent agent that interacts naturally with farmers and agronomists, facilitating access to information and encouraging daily adoption of the technology. “Our approach is unique because we don’t treat technology as an end in itself; we see it as a new logic for agricultural production, centered on tangible results and the farmer’s success. Our goal is to put data to work for the field in a practical, accessible way, integrated into the day-to-day life of the producer,” highlighted Alex Chequim.
The event also featured participation from Farmland Stock Exchange and the startup Frenzy, creating an environment for exchanging experiences among emerging companies delivering disruptive solutions to agriculture.
The August edition reinforced the importance of the work carried out by the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council (GPECD), which promotes strategic connections among farmers, researchers, and technology companies. Beck’s Hybrids, a global leader in seed research, supported the event as host, opening its facilities for a technical visit and contributing to the discussion on innovation and farmer-centered solutions.
DigiFarmz’s presence in this context strengthens its position as a key player in the digital transformation of agriculture. Participation in Greater Peoria AgTech Connect recognized DigiFarmz’s relevance within the U.S. AgTech ecosystem, marking a step that reinforces its growth trajectory and effective contribution to an increasingly intelligent and connected model of farming.
